So how many people out there are watching Soul Eater? It's a fun show, and Death the Kid amuses me the most by far. I enjoy the fact that he uses two guns--not to be badass, but to be symmetrical! (I have yet to figure out why he holds the guns upside down, but this amuses me also.) Someday I should draw a fanart that properly celebrates his crazy OCD-ness. Also someday I will give my fanart a non-lame title.
Ah! I like this show~ Haven't watched ep 3, but he looks like fun

He needs to have a talk with Dr. Steinman from BioShock!
It's a cute show so far, and I love love love the fact that his two guns can 'use' each other :].
I really hope that this show has an episodic feel to it like Avatar because I was pleasantly surprised by the tone and feel of the prologues.
The character designs strike me as a little boring. Background artwork was what got me into it, really. I find the colour palette very interesting and the designs so quirky and charming. Reminds me of maps from the computer game WORMS. They also like to use a fisheye lens for a lot of the shots. :]
But seriously, this guy's my favourite of the 3 'main characters' and his guns are the best :].
It's true, I have no idea how one would pull a trigger with one's pinkies, and who knows how he aims? Perhaps its the sisters that have to do the real aiming, and all Death the Kid has to do is point in the general direction? Hm...I wonder if these questions will actually be answered?
It's a really fun show, and you're right, it is awesome that his guns can "use" each other; that makes them the best weapon of choice--they took out all those mummies by themselves!
It's true that the character designs aren't the most original (nor is the main premise, to be honest, though I've only seen the first 3 eps) but I like that it doesn't take itself too seriously, the look of the show is really stylish, and the animation is fast-paced and fluid, which is enough to keep me watching!

You know how hard it is to shoot a gun like that, much less aim it?
Outside of a .22 caliber, you risk nocking a pinky off.
(Not directed at the artist, mind you, just general ranting)
Either way, it's still a pretty damn cool peice.
